Netherland Authorities carried out raids on several betting sites and seven were shut down in the process. It also results in the detention of several people. The raid saw over 150 police involved and the sites closed included fruitluck.com, amsterdamspoker.com, amsterdamscasino.com, triplegoldcasino.com, golden10casino. com, tanzoo.com and  jackpotred.com. In addition the raid saw Net Gaming Solutions, based in Costa Rica closed.

These raids were conducted due to authorities stating they were in violation of money laundering laws. It also saw accusations against Sherriff Gaming, who have denied any wrong doing. It is suspected that as they supplied the casinos with their software that some employees at Sherriff were involved including its CEO.

This is something that is sure to be watched closely within the gambling community and industry. It is not at all common with most casinos and those who supply software operating at the highest levels of professionalism. Whether this will result in charges being laid against any of those under the employ of Sherriff Gaming has yet to be seen as this is a developing story.

We will watch this closely and report on updates as they are made available to media sources.
